Creating a node is one thing, saving it to a library an other. When you create a node to be used within the network you're currently working on you can save the network without losing information from the different nodes.However, if you want to store it as a node which can be used in an other network, you should save it as a library. The procedure has a few important steps:

1. create a node/nodes for a library.

2. turn the export flag in the metadata pane on.

3. save the node as ndbx file to User/Library/NodeBox/Scripts/ in a new folder.

4. add an image file to the folder and refer the image parameter to it. The image parameter can be found in the metadata pane and serves as a the icon for the node. Images should be 50 by 50 px in dimensions.

Restart NodeBox once the node has been saved in its folder. The node should appear in the list returned by "new node" in the network pane. The screenshot below shows the returned list as a collection of selfwritten nodes and corenodes
